Is there any update coming soon for Artemis on Android. I've noticed that since its release in 2014 it's still on version 2.1.0 however I want to use it with the apple version 2.1.1. I'm still yet to see if the two are compatible running through a PC as the server and the tablets as clients? Has anyone tried this?

Tablet version 2.1.0 is compatible with PC version 2.1.1.If you run the VIS tab on the tablet you will not be able to see all space stations, but that's about it. You will notice a higher chance of crashing and Engineering will not be able to save presets from game to game when using tablets. Thats about all the differences between using tablets mixed with PC and a full PC bridge.

I believe (though I'm not certain) that Thom plans to continue support for the Android platform with the coming release. I also believe that paid Android sales have been very disappointing so it is possible that he will discontinue support at some point.

The Android version also has messed up menu screen that's never been fixed. I posted about it in another thread like a year ago or more.

There is no way to set Engineering presets or use any mods or customizations on Android or iOS. The problem is that they way it is set up, Artemis is read-only. It cannot be edited.

I've tried to fix this on my own, but it turned out to be extremely difficult.
