Hello All,

Starting to have some significant frame rate issues with Artemis - to the point its almost unplayable, at least one other person is haveing the same isssues on steam. Ive been playign for years with no issue - the only thing I can think of is that one of the last windows updates has broken something.

I have un installed and re-installed via steam but the issue remains. it also seems to worsen over time; starting jerky and devolving into a bad stop motion slide show over the course of several minuets, even just sitting on the main menu. I happend to notice there was aslo aparetnly a memory leak used membory whent from 350-500mb over about 30 mineuts. any surgestions on work arounds?

I saw this, but only when I was playing a mission. It turned out to be a bug in the mission. If you're seeing this in standard missions I haven't seen that. (But then, I haven't played a fully crewed mission in 2.6 yet)

Does it happen when you just start the game up and let it sit? Or do you have to start a mission first?  Hate to ask the standard questions, but have you rebooted and/or run a virus scan?

it affects the main menu on load (spining camera) no need to push any further buttons, system is clean and no hardwear has changed.

Ok resolved, it was to do with compatibility, I had set up Artemis to use a compatibility mode for Win 7 back when I first adapted to Win 10 as I had a few issues, I have turned of the compatibility mode and FPS returned to a normal level [smile]
