Hi All - doing some testing on machines. I am getting the following error message on both machines tested when exiting to windows.

"The D3D device has a non-zero reference count, meaning some objects were not released."

One machine is a Win 7 laptop - the other is a Win 10 Laptop.... program appears to work otherwise.

Any ideas what the issue is? or if it will cause future problems.

thanks

This is a recurring error in Artemis 2.0 and 2.1, IIRC. It should not harm the system, it is just an error message saying that the graphics are not being properly discarded when the program shuts down.

2.2 fixes the problem, and I believe it's absent from 2.1.5 too. (If you want to avoid 2.2's other problems)

Ah yes running 2.1.1. How do I locate 2.1.5?

You know, I don't think 2.1.5 is available any more. 2.2 was intended to replace it.

I think I've seen this w/ v 2.2.  Can always release by re-booting!
