This video is rather long but it really is very comprehensive and covers using off the shelf components in your Artemis setup. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

Nicely done!  I expected this to be harder, but your video makes it look very easy.

38 minutes is long, but it's 38 minutes well spent. If it was a book or even a PDF it could take even longer to read and maybe longer to understand. Thanks and well done!

I actually recently referred to this video for imformation about jumpers. It would have made things much more frustrated if I hadn't known about the demo mode on dip switch 10

I'm really glad you found it useful! It makes me really happy that I am good enough to be used as a reference material. As always if you need any help let me know! ^_^

I have been doing a lot of research on DMX lighting for awhile and have just started playing with it. Here is a cool program I found linked to on HolidayCoro that I have been using to test out color mixtures outside of the game. probably not as good as an actual control board or the program that actually tests Artemis queues, but you might find it handy

http://sourceforge.net/projects/xlights/

Here is a video

Great videos.  I'm diving into DMX for the first time and the video was very helpful in clearing up some of my questions.

I found the DMX binary calculator helpful that I saw recommended elsewhere:  http://www.chauvetlighting.com/chauvet-dip-switch-calculator/

Can't wait for my DMX equipment to arrive!

If you can't find an answer in this thread find one where Mark is participating. He does the DMX workshops at Artemis Armada and he is quite knowledgeable.

Also, if you have a question just ask it. There are a good number of people on this board that are very knowledgeable about DMX. Its highly likely that someone will have the answer.
