For the past two days I've been trying to find a solution on how to make Artemis connect to my OLA server via Art-Net (or any other way). Has anyone got a solution to this, software, hardware, anything?

This is how I would want it to work:

ive been looking into trying to figure this out as well, as we want to use DMX but using an arduino with the DMX boards, and an ethernet shield as well.  My thought is artemis to (something to convert dmx to ip packets) then to arduino setup via ethernet, then from arduino out to the dmx lights and accessories.  but im not sure how to do the conversion.  im still in the VERY early planning stages for this setup.

The only way I've found is to use A OpenDMX box + this http://www.thomann.de/fi/enttec_ode_open_dmx_ethernet.htm at the artemis server and then another OpenDMX box at the OLA server to connect to the lights. But that would cost around 300 euros :/ That's pretty expensive considering it can be done via software, if I could just find the right one to do it.

I have buy the box, but i cant get it to work [frown]
I have test done with the Software form ENTTEC and and a working pixel tube, but Artemis dont send network data so i  dont can pipe dmx to the light.

Can some one tell me is Artemis only send DMX via com port pipe and only sending to a FTDI USB-RS485 ?

Config for my Network:

PC == > Router ==> ODE ==> DMX-Light  // Working with Artnet Protokoll and DJ Software

A Working Cabel for Artemis and DMX

But nothing new to Art-Net and Artemis.

The Jar lib looks today best to implement red alert for art net.

On this point, thanks for this nice programm to Arkantos
