We have tried various setups. 3 iPhones to a laptop server - They could not connect. 2 Desktops to laptop server - could not connect. 3 iPhones to a desktop (server) - This did work. The same laptop to 2 desktops (server) and an iPhone - Did function. Laptop to iPhones (server) - Did function. Obviously, the server is not working on the laptop.

We would like to get the laptop server to function. I have installed the extra software required to connect with an Apple product and all desktops have been updated as well. I have made sure that port 2010 is open. I turned off my firewall. The desktops are hardwired, the laptop is not. These were all done per suggestions that I found in the forum. Below are my laptop's specs:

Windows 8.1 - 64 bit
Intel i7-4700MQ CPU 2.40 GHz
8 gigs of RAM

If anybody is curious as to why I'm trying so hard to get this to work... we are trying to put the laptop server viewscreen through to our extra large tv so we can lounge on the reclining couch and run our starship! We were inspired by some awesome videos on You Tube of people running the main view screen with a projector so it was easy for everyone to see. I think we all like the computer version of the software better, but there's something appealing to cruising the universe on your comfy couch. XD We doubled down with computer and iPhone software so we are committed to exploring any way we can.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated so we can get our ship off the ground with maximum comfort! Thank you very much!

What security software is the laptop running as far as antivirus/malware?  it is possible there is a 3rd party firewall program like Norton Internet Security or something like that running that could be blocking it as well.

Hi, I agreed to that also anwoke8204, there might be a firewall, Internet antivirus or security program that has been blocking.
