It kind of reminds me of when we were talking on the forums with Captain about the game being unrealistic easy. 1 Terran ship destroying hundreds of TAK.

At level 11 on 300% it's a whole different game.

Without warp it gives you a real inferiority complex knowing that the enemy ships are faster, have stronger shields and more powerful beams if you play a MC which doesn't even have any!

I can manage two or three Skaraans before I am wiped out. That's on a good day. Am I getting close to par for the course?

Definitely good training.

Since I've never tried with multiple ships I can't comment but based on my feelings I'd say tag/agro the Skaraans first and then deal with them. If you have warp and the ability to do that. Then take out the larger fleets as normal.

Like I said I've never really liked scouts, but at this level they seem so strategicly useful I think it may be the case that you NEED them more than want them. Relative to the number of player ships of course.

Also TAUNT us now my most important ability.

The Skaraans move so fast it's more energy efficient to taunt them and get them to come to me. But their mix and match abilities makes it a real challenge, particularly with the big ones.

And I have learnt to fear the Kralien Horde... Without beams they're super deadly.

Have you played a normal game since practising on 300%?

The enemy are arthriticly slow!

We tried. It was almost painful.
