Here is the USN's second mission after their shakedown tour of the Elysium system.
Sadly just from my ship's perspective with limited LRS.
Will try to get more for the next instalment.

The USN can be found on teamspeak at;   Artemisspeak.org

I'll edit the post when I get the name but, for now, I just wanted to say that the Science Officer of the Artemis did a great job!

Sadly it seems like I lost a bit somewhere but things like giving updates as to the what the Supply Ship was doing, that there were no life signs on the Dispatch Ship, efficiently announcing the trap and reminding the CO of the mission perimeters.

Man of the match, from where I was sat. But sadly a lot of that went AWAL during editing, but I wanted to point it out.

That's fantastic!  Good job Arrew.

It was a very engaging mission and I didn't even notice any of the missing updates you refer too.  I'm just glad we survived, despite my lack of skill at the weapons console.

Well we didn't explode and die horribly so I'd say you did a good job. [wink]
Shame we didn't get to kick more Kralien but in Sector 3 though.

Although there was the time where we tried to collect mines in practice but that wasn't a tactical issue [wink] .
A throwback from the old Pegasus days. Mines Are Not Collectables!

But they are collectible and so cuddly...  I think they should be for sale at the Artemis Armada too!

I think I must get a couple for my quarters, just as a reminder. We get three ships online and I happen to command the third one... just as she dives into a minefield. Wonderful for my record.

Oh, and by the way, overheating systems are not your friends. Especially if you're in a damcon team.

HAHA!

Those look awesome they totally should be on sale for at the Con. Also a T-Shirt with mines are not collectables on it.    /Rew Quote [wink]

No worries Del Pino. In Sandbox V3 I can make player ships immune to mines now, next time just give me a wink and I'll juice you up [wink] .

P.S. Can anyone in the USN other than Corwin host games?
I can but I'm sure the lag would be terrible...

Why can't Corwin host the games anymore?  Is it time to start rumors?

I host single bridge servers at home on a regular basis - but I've never hosted a multi ship sandbox environment.  If there are some instructions or someone who is competent running a server like that, I have a server in the cloud that would have the bandwidth needed.  If someone else also knew how to run the server that would be good since I'm not sure I can be there every weekend.

Corwin can still host. But he is currently the only host. Working on getting more.

<LOL> No rumours.  Unless they involve blue blooded shape shifting lizard aliens from Jupiter...

Corwin is hosting just fine. Just a lot of ideas. Would be nice to try things that haven't been done before which would require multiple servers... Armada for one.

Anyone that can host would be great if you let me and USN Command Staff know. Don't worry about GMing I'd do it remotely.
