I am experiencing similar problems, and have tried everything in this thread to no avail. I have a laptop with 2.4, a bunch of phones and tablets. The laptop can connect to the phones and tablets just fine as a client, the phones and tablets cannot connect to the laptop as a server. I need the laptop to be the server as I want my view screen on the connected projector.

-I've checked the forceIP like in artemis.ini
-I've checked the artemisSBS registry entries
-I've tried running artemis as an administrator

This machine is running the latest windows 10. The server machine's address is 192.168.0.100 and all devices are connected to the router via wifi.

This sounds like a Windows problem to me. I think your laptop's Windows firewall is being triggered when you launch the server. There may be a message from Windows that you can't see because it's behind the server screen. Try launching the server in a small window or <alt><tab> to see if there's a Windows message that you are missing.

Fixed;

There was no dialogue for the firewall, but I dug into the firewall settings and discovered two separate entries for Artemis. I set them both to allow and it works now. Thank you.
