Major Features

  • No Changes to Stock Artemis Ships
  • New Asteroids
  • New Pirate Faction
  • Arvonian Bombers and Krelian Drone Cruisers gives the Hegemony forces more stand off attack power.
  • 6 New Player ships, Lancer class Interceptor, Allegiance Class Battlecruiser, Mine layer, Missile Cruiser Mk II, Privateer and Levitation class Carrier (requires Mission script support to work) round out and provide some unique play styles.
  • New Allied Race the Hjorden, New TSN NPC Ships
  • New Generic Meshes for Mission Scripts (debris, anomaly's, and more)
  • New Mission objects for use in Mission Scripts (Shipyard, Asteroid, Defense Platform and more)
  • New Race "N'tani" (used in Mission Scripts)
INSTALLATION
  1. Download the Latest Version
  2. Update to 2.1.5, this is optional it works with 2.1.1 as well
  3. Extract the contents into your base Artemis Directory allowing it to overwrite files

Updated Clients will work with Stock 2.1.1/2.1.5 versions of Artemis, but if the host has the mod running everyone will need it. Provided Bat files to easily disable/enable the Expansion.

Thank you for the installation video.  I assume this needs to be placed on all client stations, and not just the server, correct?

@Longbowman - Yes. This is a mod of the game with new ship types. You need all the clients with the mod, as well as the server, to allow the game to work properly.

Very good expansion!

Now I can't wait to see it working on Artemis 2.2.0.

In the meanwhile I´m tempted to do the upgrade myself. In order to do so I need to edit any other file than artemis.ini?

We did have an upgrade to 2.2 when it was released. Fish may still have it, and his GM team might be able to put together a patch for you. I'll speak to them tonight if I catch them and see what they can do. We love seeing our stuff being used by the wider artemis community.

Right at the bottom of the page you can see a Beta Version that we used for 4-5 weeks its missing things that the 2.1.1/5 build has however.


In all honesty the only changes you would need to make from the latest version would be to add the PShock torpedo levels for the player ships in the VessalData.ini's. Ive been hopeing for a stable relase of 2.2 for a while.

Yeah, I'm suspecting the transition from 2.1 to 2.2 is going to be less backwards compatible from a mission point of view than previous. There will have to be two versions of some missions released, one for 2.2 and one for pre-2.2.

The good news is, once it is stable, there should be some real improvements. Just being able to give ally ships drones and have them work will make a difference in the creation of custom ships.

Hello
Where can we get some documentation about the TSN expansion ? ( if I want to create script as example ) as well as equivalent of a user guide ?
