I am SO disappointed that I'll be unable to come this year. Maybe next time.

That's a bummer. Perhaps I'll see you at GenCon?

The Bring-Your-Own-Bridge slots are filling up fast! The Armada V ballroom has room for a limited number of bridges, so if  you plan to bring a bridge you must have a space reserved. There will ne no room for walk-in bridges. Click here for the Bring-Your-Own-Bridge reservation.

Bridge slots are currently 11' x 11'. If you need more room than that...

Hmm. I'm not quite sure who to contact about that. Let me check and see.

I'm not in charge of that ballroom, but I think the ballroom has 15 spaces that are a maximum of 11'x11' per bridge, and each bridge will get one 8 amp outlet. At the rate space is going it seems likely that the ballroom will be jam packed to capacity, but if we only get 16-17 bridge reservations perhaps the ballroom team will reallocate space to give people a little more. I don't have the authority to say, I'm just guessing.

I see the web page says there are 15 bridge slots left. That cannot be up to date. Based on the email questions I am fielding (for which I do NOT have the answers) we must be getting lots of bridge reservations coming in today.

The person who CAN answer your ballroom questions is our Armada Director, Corey. You can email Corey at: armada.director@gmail.com

I hope this helps.

Hello all!

Yes, at Mike said, I am the Armada Director and I can answer questions anyone may have regarding the ballroom. I will be updating the website soon to reflect the proper number of spaces left - Mike is correct, high demand after yesterday's announcement has claimed several of those 15 spots.

Our floor plan is designed to accommodate 11'x11' for all bridges. In the event we are below capacity, then we can expand SLIGHTLY for those who may need a little more space. Please don't rely on that until I can confirm with you on an individual basis if that is the case.

I am working closely with our engineering team to make sure we don't overload any electrical circuits. So I will be asking all bridge teams to send me power requirements (how many watts/amps each computer is, TV's, etc.).

Feel free to email me directly: armada.director@gmail.com

Looking forward to seeing everyone in 2 months!

My bridge currently occupies a space that is 15'x18', though that is with fighter bays as well. I THINK we were able to squeeze everything into a 12'x12' space, but any smaller and we are even able to get to the stations. 14'x14' works pretty well for the main bridge and then another 3-5' (14'x3-5') for fighters. Ill send an email off to you, but I think you will run into similar problems with other "custom" bridges that are more than just laptops and such.

Yeah - 11 x 11 is a bit tight. I think we can make it work, but there's not a lot of room for error.
