As mentioned in another thread, Artemis 2.7.2 is not ready to be published. The last test revealed a critical crash bug. Thom worked on fixing the bug but his fix needs to be tested with a full crew including fighters. This testing will happen at Cleveland's Critical Hit Games on February 21. If the code passes the test then it should be releasxed shortly thereafter.

Also mentioned in another previous thread, I will be in Arizona between February 13 and February 26 which includes the day when the testing will be done.

Yesterday Thom told me he'd be willing to let me take a beta copy of the 2.7.2 code with me. If anyone in Arizona can get a full crew together I will bring the software to you. We could run our own independent tests of 2.7.2 and report our results to Thom.

I will be staying in Scottsdale but I can drive as far as Tucson if someone has a crew. Note that the crash bug involved fighter replenishment and friendly base destruction so we would need a large crew playing on a pretty high difficulty level.

That sounds great! If you don't want to discuss this in pubic please send a private message.

We need to have some planning ahead of time. My wife is in a wheelchair and if the game isn't in an accessible place I must make arrangements.

I have sent out a heads up to my crew, about needing people to play. You and your wife are welcome aboard the ship and join my crew, and (i would be honored if you would command it)  But we would need to do this on Saturday the afternoon of the 23rd. We live in Tolleson which is  about maybe 25 miles from Scottsdale, We live in a 1 level house that she would be access it fairly easy (i hate stairs and steps).
I may do my Test layout of my setup  for cons and events in our garage to see how that works for us.

Tolleson on the 23rd? By amazing coincidence we are going to a Cleveland Indians game in Goodyear on the 24th!

I am checking with Thom and with my wife. This will probably work. I hope to see you in 12 days!

This is the first year in many that I haven't had the bleeding edge, just released, update installed on the day I load in for a 3-day convention with dual-bridges serving 16 players (thanks to fighters) every 2 hours.

I'm actually a little relieved.  😉
