Someone had recommended this USB to DMX converter.

And I was wondering if anyone else had experience with it and what kind of enclosure box you got to put it in. This will be my first time putting something like this in a box so no level of explanation is too low.

I 3d printed one. If you have a 3d printer I can see if I still have the riles somewhere. Alternatively anything that covers it. The super simple option would be to hot glue it inside of a PVC tube.

Basically any kind of container that has a hole on eother end (or that you can put a hole through) will work. Hot glueing it to one of the walls will keep it from sliding around. Hotglueing the wires to the putside of the  bow will keep stress from pulled wires from pulling directly pn the connections point.

I thought I'd need to screw it into something but if hot glue works then I'll consider that.

I took an old medicine bottle and made an enclosure out of that. I left it so plenty of air gets to the board (not that it needs it) and it help keep things/people from touching it.

Some people asked me if I will be making more of my own USB-to-DMX converters. I have made a few more and put them on my Etsy page. Those who used the previous ones reported that they work well for them - so they're an option. If you have a DMX controller with an Ethernet jack, these make wiring a bit simpler.

Any enclosure should work. A used medicine bottle is a great idea.
