Convention over.  Many teams all had a go at the module and they all had fun.  The pacing was great and the story was entertaining.  I highly recommend this module to other players.  I will add that the module gets harder the further in you go, it is harder than most.


*** SPOILERS BELOW***

 

I have 2 pieces of feedback for the dev.


The first issue is transporting 'TIM'.  You get 3 minutes from the moment the last carrier dies.  The voice over from Cratchet station does not put enough emphasis on the time constraint (the text message comms gets when you pick him up does but its too late by then).  EVERY single group failed this objective until I went into the code and significantly increased this time.  Many groups had finished off the carriers and started the timer but spent several mins finishing off the fighters before they docked.  Others spotted the threats to London and Turkey Surprise and decided to finish them off first.  That timer needs to be longer and the voice message from Cratchet needs to make it clear that this is a timed event.

The 2nd issue is the final fight at graveyard.  I know its supposed to be a trap but its a little too effective.  The issue is multiple enemy ships with tractor beams, they will go off one after the other and completely immobilize the players ship for minutes at a time... and then the other fleets arrive and its all over.  A few less tractor beams here might help the module(some are great as trapping the players ship with the fleets bearing down on them causes a wave of fear that is a fantastic story element).

Overall a fantastic module.  It has a high standard of quality and polish.  Thank you.

What difficulty level did you use when playing?

I started it on 5.  Too many groups struggled at the end so I lowered it to 3.  All the groups were fairly green.
