I wanted to start a thread to see if there were any pressing needs to help with Armada.

Equipment, Material,  Labor, Expertise, etc.  Either before, during or after the event.

My crew is coming in Thursday night.  We are all willing to do any labor necessary to help setup.  We'll need to setup our bridge but other than that we are wide open until the event starts.  Even during Armada we would be happy to be pick up some responsibilities.

If desired, I can supply two-way radios for the event.  With some notice I can bring as many as 50 Motorola HT1250 (UHF) radios and shoulder mics.  With no notice I can bring 1/2 that.  I can build a custom codeplug for them as well if there is some special functionality that is desired.

We used our radios during the ballroom multi-bridge battle last year and they worked well.

Any help setting up the the ballroom is always appreciated! Let me talk to some of the other organizers about the radios and get back to you.

The 42nd Training Corps is planning to get in Thursday night, and will be available to help with setup on Friday as needed.  We also will be setting up a bridge, but it should not take long (theoretically).

I believe there is a gaming store called Critical Hit Games that runs an Artemis Night 1st and 3td Thursday nights.  To wit, April 6th!  May be a good way to get the party started.
I took off Thursday to drive in for this, so look for the guy with the gray beard.  Willing to lend a hand when/where/if I can.  Not so much on the "strongback" activities anymore....
