I am running test on shadows in the diffuse and in the specular files. Since I can only Mod a Windows machine, I set a iPad Pro as the server. This allowed me to connect the Windows 10 PC as the Observer window.  Leaning back and watching Artemis the movie. I truly believe a second light should be added. Placed in a lower position.  Setting amount of light at 5% of the value of the top light. This should add just a little extra detail in the shadow areas.

Dear Techbear;  adding a second light  including settings for both that control the amount of light they cast, would allow us to record the perfect scenes.

Here is the file that allows the bottom of the ship to be seen in the shadows.  I believe it makes observer mode a better experience. artemis_illum.png

Here is a link to a mac pro running Artemis through a wine bottler.
Please note the application is using modded skyboxes provided by the members here. The diffuse specular and luminance files have been modified. Transparent glows have been added to the front part of the engines. The video is done through the observer screen. Also at the end of the file it shows the importance of adding a lower light. We corrected through the luminance file. So when the two ships are on-screen compare the shadow values. Please set to 720 P if possible.
