I can confirm that it now works.

Go to Corrilla and it should happen after 60 seconds of arriving in a Corrillan Sector.

Well done cxfAtheus... You have earned yourself a cookie sir!

Yeah. Re-download that and let me know how it goes.

Should kick off every 1 to 3 minutes.

That was a tasty digital cookie. Thanks.

I'll give the updated version a go. Thanks for fixing it up.

Thanks for finding it.

I just "assumed" it worked on the timer and it was ok, when an odd bit of code I had made before for testing was still there and gummed up the works.

I'm thinking about changing it about but feedback about the cCorrilla mechanic would be useful.

Played around for just a short while....  literally minutes to look at it.   The nebulas jumped around but not the Artemis.  Neither did the enemy ships. Player ship and enemies stayed in place. (Are they supposed to move?) Kind of cool that the nebulas moved.  I can see it would be a real neat thing that each time there is a shift, all scanned enemies that move (if they were to move) would become unscanned.

Really? Worked on 1.9 the other day?

Did you get the pop up message?

If I have time I could film the effect, but uploading to youtube is an issue.

I tested it out with V2.11. It seemed to work fine. I noticed Artemis moved approximately 500m towards the top of the map. Is this normal? and consistent?

I like the effect, but think it should be more pronounced on the ships (maybe even with random distances, but always one direction). Knowing it always pushes your ship in a given direction, it will be a cool skill for a captain to master...knowing how your ship is going to move and predicting the distance so that you're in the proper position when the burst ends.

Should be three jumps in succession, 1K each I think? Meaning a total of 3K.

I suppose 3K seems like what I was seeing. I wasn't thinking that a complete grid was 20K. I suppose 3K is enough to muck about with combat. Does this effect apply to enemy ships, too?

Yes. Although their ships are made from a slightly different alloy so they don't get pushed as far.

The idea being that it will cause a separation of player and enemy to mess about with combat.

Brilliant. I look forward to messing with my crews with it.

We are talking about the Corilla Gate in the Q menu correct?
I will have to try it again.  I am using 2.1.9

If you're watching it happen from the GM or Science consoles, the ship barely moves, as 3km is only about 1/7th of a grid. If you watch it from the Weapons or Helm console (with some reference points around, like a station) it is pretty clear.
