I love those console pedestals. The lighting also looks nice.

I only see once small vent in the lower left. Since the bridge has no windows, I assume you must have air conditioning. What spec did you use for cooling that room?

Looks like you've got plenty of room. I assume you are also working on a lounge area and maybe an engine room? You could put up a Info Data display so the "engineers" can keep an eye on the system status.

Oh, wait I noticed you mentioned that in an earlier post. The status screen is still a good idea, as well as maybe a second Engineering console so the Chief Engineer can transfer control from the engine room to the bridge as needed.

Indeed the Engineering part will need to be operated by 2 people one to divert power and keep coolant level right and the other to control the warp core flow.

You could have a third player control DamCon teams. It would require either using some sort of macro software to allow a button panel to access the ship's system nodes, or using the panel to control power/coolant and giving the Engineering console to the Damage Control officer, but I've often felt that would be a good way to divide the role.

And I like the idea of players who aren't technically playing the game, but keeping it going. You could have a role for a ship's doctor or a yeoman (handling scheduling) that way.

I love that engineering is in a separate area, to replicate the Star Trek experience even further.

To build on ryleyra's idea, perhaps the Doctor can keep track of player food allergies, and assist in dispensing "rations." They can also improve mental/emotional health by talking with players how they are doing. Especially the captain, with whom they can be a little more frank than subordinate players. Finally, an added bonus could be someone trained in CPR.

Have you ever noticed how many bridge build pictures have cans of soda in them?  [biggrin]
