In case you haven't heard of it, Dragon Con is sort of a big deal here for us geeky types in Atlanta. I first heard of Artemis through this video from Dragon Con TV in fact.

Every year, I've thought, "Wouldn't it be great to help run Artemis at Dragon Con?"

And every year... nothing, at least nothing official.

Then I was introduced to someone affiliated with Dragon Con during the Southern-Fried Gameroom Expo, where I was hosting my semi-portable "LTE Bridge".

One phone call later, and it's happening!

The "Lawson Thompson Experience" Artemis Bridge is going to Dragon Con 2016!

And we're not doing this in the vendor table area or open game table space. It's officially part of the Gaming track, in its own room.

If you're an experienced Artemis host in the metro Atlanta area and would be willing to volunteer to work a daily shift on the bridge, contact me.

I definitely have interest.  I need to make sure my financials work out right to go to Dragon Con this year (I've had a lot of medical bills and other issues of late), and I still actually have to find a room for myself and my girlfriend (and possibly one other).  We had plans, but some friends backed out and they fell apart.

Anywho, if I can make it down for DragonCon, and once I get a good look at the schedule, I would very probably like to work a shift on one or more days, depending on the timing and length of the shifts involved.

Just got back from the Con - You guys did a great job and sold me on this game within 10 minutes of playing it.  All I need now is a crew to join if you got any ideas!

That's the link to the Eastern Front. We are a newbie friendly group. You will need teamspeak and a mic to play. Hope to see you online.

If you want to play in real life, try getting your friends to play. I wrangle them by saying "Its $7 on Steam". After that, set a date for a lan party and start playing. I like connecting my desktop to my 60 inch tv and having everyone lan up to my router.

The TSN plays Saturday afternoons. I love flying with the TSN. Its a role play group so act like your in the space navy.

I had no idea that the Artemis Bridge Simulator existed until finding out that the LTE was going to be at DragonCon.  It was a great experience, thanks for letting a group of noobs like us use an hour session.  It was a highlight of the Con for us and we're already planning our own groups.  Thanks, we look forward to seeing you next Con!
