Yesterday I observed a crew who got a doubled production speed mission shortly after a civilian base began making a nuke. After production speed was doubled the base reported it would take 19 minutes to finish the nuke!

I *think* this means that the doubled production speed has no effect on a weapon currently in production; the benefit begins on the next weapon ordered. So this crew should have aborted the nuke and started something else.

Can anyone confirm this observation?

Does this behavior seem correct to you?
