Hey Guys, I was wondering if there is any sort of DMX testing app to help check for the correct channels and things like that?

I use a really basic version of XLights to help troubleshoot DMX lights.

https://sourceforge.net/projects/xlights/

I use it to send commands to everything on my DMX chain all at once or one at a time. Heres a video on how to use it:

Ah nice! this will be handy, especially with lights that are more confusing and have more than a mere 3 channels.

Thank you for your assistance!
