If you like I could whip up a sample of what I'm talking about next week.

For our newbie crews at cons, I plan create a scripted equivalent of our standard random configuration (Siege level 6 with a warp-enabled Ximni Dreadnaught + 2 Fighters), with some GM controls to adjust time remaining, nudge hints at crew members, etc.

The bases would be well-stocked with replacement fighters, resolving much of the "no more fighter" problem.
