Does anyone have any suggestions for an Android app that can connect to a PC (over Bluetooth or wifi) and control DMX lights using the Enttec Open DMX USB?  Does this exist already?

You can install the Open DMX OLA server and control the lights via HTML. Wouldnt require bluetooth connectivity.

I installed FreeStyler (Free DMX stage lighting manager) and then installed the matching FreeStyler app that lets you control from your mobile device.  The app has two flavors, the more powerful one costs a couple of dollars and a free one that does most basic things you need but nothing fancy.  Works great but the program does have a bit of a learning curve if you're not well versed in stage lighting terms.  I did make it work though.  Very nice for using the Artemis lighting for parties, which I've found is a great thing.  My bridge area is not only super geeky, but because of that light, it also becomes super sexy.  I love that duality!  Game nights here:  Start by playing Artemis, with drinking involved.  Eventually get too drunk to play Artemis well.  Leave light on and turn on music and party transformation complete!

I'll have my helmswoman with the good low light camera bring it Thursday.  It's hard to get a good feel for it with all the mood lighting going on.  [smile]  Here are some pics of the area taken a few months ago before my last round of upgrades though...

DSCN5900.jpg DSCN5886.jpg

That's engineering in the first pic, with main screen beside and a captian's map laptop.  We normally perfer a standing captian.  You'll notice the engineer is in charge of "coolant."   There's a bar and a fridge to help with this.  A valid order to give to our engineer is "Captian's coolant!" which means he reaches into the fridge and uses the bar to make the captian's perferred coolant.  [smile]  The other picture is my helms/weapons cluster, which has the mainscreen repeated, a dedicated visual for helm to see where she's going, and a captian's map repeater for weapons to see.  We're a big fan of extra monitors for repeater screens.  Helm also has a Saitek x52 pro mounted to the chair so she never even has to touch the keyboard or mouse.  I'll be taking pics of that Thursday.

As for craziness afterwards, well, some of it moves to the other room where we move one of the DMX lights to make it hit the stripper pole.  [wink]  Here's some shots from the actual room we play in though, with Artemis having obviously been the catylist...
