In the year 2174, a transmission from a species calling themselves the Kraliens was received by a distant outpost of the USFP. The transmission made demands for the immediate surrender of the outpost to the Kraliens Order and a tithe paid. One year later, a large alien fleet arrived outside the New Lhasa system. The ensuing conflict would change the USFP forever. This mission tells the story of the opening events of the attack on New Lhasa. After a full test last night with a crew from the TSN RP Community, I have made some minor alterations to the script to make somethings in the mission clearer. I have also had some ideas about the mission itself to make it even better that I want to add in. I think fewer enemies and more pressure to defend bases will improve the mission.
Overall though, those people who played enjoyed the mission. There was some good constructive feedback about the mission itself, as well as lots of positive comments. If there is anyone else out there who has played the mission, I value feedback, particulary where it is constructive.

Even though there were hordes of enemies, it was easy to ignore the majority of them for the most part. We just had to keep the closest ones at bay long enough for the shuttles and evac and escorts to get free to the nave point. Possibly a small sorties of enemies at the nav point as the evac ships are heading that way to make that pressure higher all while still trying to keep the stations (or last station) safe during evacuation. Overall a good mission but towards the end it was hurry up and wait for the slower ships to get to the nav point to leave the sector. That or increase the speed a bit for enemy ships. This mission is such a good idea I decided I liked it before I ever player it. Surprised no one else thought of it.
It's good and functional. The science ship at the beginning is a bit slow, any chance of giving him a speed boost? Also, so in your RP Groups canon the Hegemony existed quite early, even before Terran Kralien contact? When the first station was evacuated it dissipated off sensors and the popup said we'd lost contact with it. I thought it had been destroyed, almost gave me a heart attack, untill I saw the shuttles and realized it had been evacuated. Sadly I was too busy to have a look at the shuttles, I'd liked to have seen them. With an ending like that though (No Spoilers) any chance of a follow up?

My coworkers and I tried this mission recently (before 2.6 even) and it consistently froze our simulator. Any chance for an update? We would really like to be able to play the "First Encounter"...
