I'm wondering if you can play the full version with mods on a Windows Tablet.  I figured if I could get a couple of $100 windows tablets I can get more of my friends to play with, while not spending 200 to 300 dollars on an extra laptop.

Windows tablets run the Windows version of Artemis, from Steam or from this site, just fine. They don't have the limitation of Android or Apple tablets that they have to run their own version of Artemis.

Just make sure you don't buy a tablet with Windows RT. [biggrin] Not much chance of that these days, but...

My fiancée runs Artemis on a Surface Pro. It works great. I do suggest going into the artemis.ini file and setting the touchScreen flag from 0 to 1.

I've played it on an HP Stream 7 windows Tablet ($99) and it works well enough. Note that Artemis and touchscreens don't always get along as well as you might like.
