There is a script with a Kralien Inquisitor here, look for Nov 21st post  --> https://artemis.forumchitchat.com/post/artemis-armada-v-training-mission-1-10262842

  Phase 1 - intelligence gathering
Issue these commands before starting -
ENG - set Beams, Impluse, Warp and Front & Rear Shields to 0.  Put 8 coolants and 250% Energy to Sensors. {to conserve energy}
Weaps - Load a full spread of Probes.
Helm - Coordinate with Weaps to Probe those unknown fleets.  {May ask Sci for direction.}
Sci - Scan the anomaly near us, then find the Inquiistor and double-scan ALL elements thereof.  When done, get 2nd scans on nearest.
Coms - Find the bottom-most in the list of Friendly Ships.  Remember that call sign, Order him to Defend Artemis.  Order other Friendlies to defend that ship.  {Thus making him Allied Leader, AL.}  Then get Status of each base and get them making something useful.  Use your personal LRS to make sure all Friendlies are following AL, who is coming to us.
Pilot - Take out shuttle, show me your chops.  Land, take out fighter and show quick fire of torpedoes.  Land.

  Phase 2 - planning
Since your crew is probably unfamiliar with your ship, have Sci click on it to tell everyone Shields.  Have Weaps describe armaments, tubes and beam arcs {don't forget the Green one!}.  Have pilot tell you what is in the bay.   And have Science describe abilities of each node of the Inquisitor.  Have crew suggest Plan(s) Of Attack.  As always, Captain has final say.

  Phase 3 - execution
To quote Dr D from college, "The rest is trivial, and the proof is left to the student."  Remember, if a plan does not yeild desired results, try, try again.  HINT - all plans may start with picking up that anomaly, now that you know what it is.

  Phase 4 - more preparation
Proceed to OTHER training script, All Your Base here  -->  https://artemis.forumchitchat.com/post/artemis-armada-v-training-mission-2-10401073?trail=15

Do not change ship name or type, the script will set these.

For what it's worth, the script you are practicing with is for Artemis 2.7.4. The actual war will be conducted in Artemis 2.7.5x which will be released in two weeks. By that time I will release new practice mission which will be much more flexible due to improvements in the Artemis software.

Put another way, the script you are using reflects the training drills conducted by the TSN early in the war, based on data gathered at The Battle of Beechwood. At that time TSN traiing drills were run with the Dreadnought. The script coming out on February 12 will reflect more up-to-date TSN training practices based on war experience.

My crew ran through the mission a few times. Oddly it was kind of easier the couple times I ran it solo. For whatever reason when we ran it with a full crew the satellites around the Inquisitor respawned their anti-torp ability after being destroyed. They didnt seem to do that previously.

We had one crew at a convention somehow urge the Inquisitor into surrendering--rather quickly. And it retreated rather than staying around to continue the script as expected.

That was our crew, the Cobbled Together. Our Comms officer is one of the best. If I remember correctly, she got it to surrender twice after it un-surrendered. We all applauded.

Notsabbot, are you saying after you destroy the turrets a few times, the Inquisitor loses it's specials?

The script Armada V Training Mission 1 is based on TSN observations at The Battle of Beechwood, which was fought Saturday night during Armada IV.

At the time it was observed that the Inquisitor is able to respawn a turret after approximately fifteen seconds. There appeared to be no limit to the number of times a single turret could respawn, but there were gaps in the TSN's intelligence on the subject. For example, during the Battle of Beechwood no TSN crew managed to destroy all four of the Inquisitor's turrets at the same time.

Not really. From what I can tell the 4 drones around the inquisitor all have antitorp. At first I thought that if you blew them up they would respawn without antitorp, however that does not seem to be the case. Mike makes an interesting  point that I have not blown up ALL the drones, so there may be an unknown there.

The newest training script will help you to better learn to fight Inquisitors.

The Admiralty is *very* confident that the Kraliens do not have enough resources to field more than one at a time. I mean, to do that, they would have to strip their planets to the point where they could no longer support life. Why would a sentient race do something so extreme?

But that is a very curious thing to say... where did you hear such a thing?
