Hello all, this is John Robert Matz, the composer of the musical score for Artemis, here today with a quick announcement:

In anticipation of the official release of Artemis 2.0, we're releasing the updated soundtrack (3 new tracks, and an epic upgrade of an old favorite) tonight at 12:00am CST!

I'm really looking forward to sharing the new music I've gotten to write with you, and, to that end, the price of the album will drop to only $5.

In addition, if you're one of the fans who've already purchased the soundtrack, expect a download code and link to be showing up in your inbox for the new, improved release!

The site to watch is, as always:

Watch this space for more updates!

Hello all,
The download codes for previous Artemis OST buyers have all been sent out!
If you haven't gotten yours, check the inbox associated with the account you originally bought it through and your spam filters. I've had a few addresses bounce, so if you haven't gotten your code, drop me an email at:

Very cool stuff. Listened to it pretty much right after it was released. Can't wait to hear it in game.
Will be purchasing the album in the near future.

Listening to Shakedown Cruise right now.  I see what you did there with the choir. Well done sir, well done.

Purchased! An awesome piece of work! I echo the sentiments of another poster here that the choir work on Shakedown Cruise was inspiring. Thank you. I can't wait to hear this in game

Glad you're enjoying it, John! (And, presumably, Dave!)  Thanks for buying the soundtrack!  Feel free to tell your friends! (shameless plug)

I absolutely love the remastered sound track, and would like to purchase a copy of the sound track, but am unsure about which format to choose. So, I need to ask - is all of the music on the remastered soundtrack going to be in 2.0? If not, I will need to purchase it in a format that will allow me to add it to the game (ogg format?). However, I also want to load it onto my MP3 player so I can loop the music while people are waiting to play.

Is there an additional charge for getting the music in more than one format?

Hey Jim (aka Dakkadakka),
First, all the music (minus probably the piano sketch tracks) should make it into 2.0, and it'll do so in a more interactive form (every track on the album is a collection of smaller pieces that can be interrupted during gameplay if the situation changes), so there's no need to try and integrate the album into the game yourself.
The way Bandcamp handles the multiple audio formats is pretty simple: once you've bought the album, you'll be taken to a custom download page where you can select what format to download in. You can (theoretically) select every single option on that page and download them all, as long as you have the bandwidth and space to save them. I believe the download link expires eventually, but it is traditionally good for several hours at least. (Though I don't recommend navigating away from the page until you've every format you want.)

Hope that helps, and that you enjoy the music!
