It was posted on the Artemis Facebook page. Since I don't use facebook, I'm completely blind to updates like this unless if someone specifically mentions it to me, which is what happened in this situation.

Woo! From the Facebook page:

Hello, space fans!

We've gotten our hands on the Release Candidate for Artemis Mobile 2.0! We sent it back for a few tweaks and fixes, so we should see the official release in about two weeks! We're sad we missed BLACK FRIDAY, but we're happy that it is almost ready!

We hope to be able to upgrade people's Mobile Artemis Apps for free, so stay tuned (but don't rush out and buy it, if you don't have it yet.)

Sweet! This is awesome news! Now I can finally live out my dreams of sitting in the captain's chair with the map sitting in my hands on a tablet like in sci-fi shows and movies in just two weeks or so!

Anyways, not to get too ahead of myself, it will take however long it takes, even if it's slightly longer than 2 weeks. Don't rush out an unfinished release guys! Take your time!

The 2.0 update for Android went live this morning, but I can't get it to run at all on my Ouya.  Can we please get an official Ouya build?  That would be lovely.  The two requirements for Ouya are controller support and some form of free play.  Just make the Ouya version by default a main screen (server) only option (and pay to unlock other options) and support the controller and we're golden.

Anyway, that's my opinion.
