From July 6 through July 9 I will be attending the North American Science Fiction Convention (aka NASFiC) in San Juan, Puerto Rico. At past Worldcons and NASFiCs I have brought along or helped to run an Artemis bridge. This convention won't feature an Artemis bridge but it will feature yours truly appearing on several panels where I will discuss aspects of Artemis.

Friday 10:00 AM
Genre Blending - I will be a panelist discussing the way genre is used in the writing and game development industries. I will discuss Artemis specifically.

Friday 5:00 PM
What's So Funny? I will be a panelist discussing the writing of humor, including the Artemis story below.

Saturday 3:00 PM
Reading - Sci-fi and fantasy humor, including my first prose story set in the Artemis universe.

I will serve on three other panels:
Who is Mary Sue? (Thurs 5:00)
Science for World Progress (Fri 4:00)
The Realities of Living in an Extreme Climate (Sat 10:00 AM)

. . . but I don't believe the subject of Artemis will come up in these sessions.

If anyone will be there please look me up. We can grab lunch or something.

"The Admiralty had demanded six ships; the economists offered four; and we finally compromised on eight."
- Winston Churchill
