Here's a walkthrough/flythrough for the mission The Good Professor, with some hints and for dealing with big Skaraan fleets...

Hey Arrew, nice missions you're doing! One thing though, when you spawn TSN ships, be aware they have normal damage listed in the vesselData file, while enemy ships have 1/5 of the damage, because the game has a mechanic where from difficulty levels 1 to 5 enemy damage is multiplied by 1 to 5 respectively, while allied ship damage stays constant.

What this means is that on difficulty 5, TSN ships will be 5 times as powerful, and will wreck player (one shot from a destroyer will wreck your whole shield).

Typically, crews play missions on difficulty of 5 or more, in order to have "normal" enemy damage. Therefore, they will encounter enormous difficulty spike when facing enemy TSN ships.

Therefore, you should manually set difficulty level to 1 inside mission script when you make a mission, like The Cure, where you spawn enemy TSN ships, so that their damage stays adequate.

Also, it would be good if the missions from one campaign would be numbered somehow, so that they're easy to play in order. Like, Ardent S4 M1 (mission name)...

Besides that, THANKS A LOT! Our crew had much fun playing the Trojan Horse campaign!

Hi Alexey,

I intentionally didn't set the difficulty in script so that crews can adjust that to what they feel is appropriate.

I've completed all of the missions on level 10 and there is often a trick that can lead to an easier victory.

In regard to TSN ships I think it was getting them to run into your mines but I think I'm getting that and Children of Carnage mixed up... What I actually did in Children was reduce the enemy TSN shield strength, but I don't think I did that for that last Trojan mission. Feels like I made them years ago... Perhaps it does need editing for balance, but don't know when or if I'll have time to do that. But your right it could do with being looked at.

Thanks for the feedback... [smile]
