I could try a weekly meet up between 7pm and 11pm Wednesday to Friday Beijing time if enough people wanted to try it.

It seems as though I may have found a crew to go through and record all of this with, but we can't start due to me having litterally my entire extended family coming in town this weekend and the plan being to do the recording on weekends right before the role playing session.

Check your mini-mission post. I wrote out a message there. In the meantime, I'm lazy and have a TON of forum posts to go through from the past 2 weeks.

Not really important but I changed the script a little bit to say that the Drenni are already USFP member in the Comms messages and not thinking/petitioning for membership. Just think it made more sense. But it doesn't change the mechanics or even the overall plot.

I just think the poor Drenni deserve to be in the USFP. Don't you? [wink]

Wow thanks Shrimpyhugs! I didn't even notice. What a silly mistake. Thanks for that and you get a star sticker for your observational skills...

Haha, well you get a star sticker too, as today i was able to muster a crew together finally and we played through the first two missions of the campaign and I must say, they were fantastic, very immersive and the code breaking was fun, with half the crew gathering around the comms station trying to decipher it together [tongue]. I look forward to getting them back together and playing through more of the campaign at a later date. 5 stars!

That's so awesome! So great to hear that someone enjoyed one of the missions I made.

That was the idea I had behind the code breaking, that the crew would gather around the Comms and work together to solve it. I hoped that cracking it would give a sense of satisfaction that they had overcome come challenge as a team. But to be honest I have been kind of worried about if thats who it would go, hence the B version.

If you do have time to play them please let me know how you get on with the other missions. If the captain liked the life and death decisions in Episode One there are more to come, but I will try not to give any spoilers. [smile]

@Arrew, my crew played through the first two missions last night and found them to be quite a bit of fun. We really liked the variety and fun plot/narrative.

Well done!

The only thing we found a little confusing was the missions ended a little abruptly and we were a little unsure if we completed or won them. Perhaps you could add a "Mission Complete" title that displays for a short period of time when the mission is completed but before the "End Game" screen is displayed?

I'll let you know how we fare playing the other 5 episodes. Thanks for sharing your creativity with us!

Thanks Jacobio, and that's a great suggestion. I will work it into future missions and perhaps add it to the other campaign  missions if I have time.

What do you think some that just says "Mission Complete" ?

What I've seen done for missions before is they have a message pop up on all clients that says "Mission Complete" or they have a message pop up in comms saying the same thing but in character.

Also, I swear to god I will get around to this at some point in time! I've been busy designing and doing multiple tests of promotional videos for the RP group and that's been occupying a ton of my time, leaving me not too much to edit other videos. I have the crew lined up, it's just a matter of actually taking the time (right now we have some pretty big changes going down in the RP, so we don't really have a ton of time either way). If worst comes to worst, I can just film me running it alone or with some random crew. I probably won't have much in the way of fancy editing for it though. I tend to just cut off the begining (setting up the video before the mission starts) and the end (forgetting to stop the recording when the mission ends).

Also, I have the mini missions downloaded now and ready to go any time that I remember! If worst comes to worst, running it all (campaign itself included) alone will suffice. It wont be the most watchable thing, what with it just being me on the ship and all, but it could still be interesting.

Right now there should be a COMMs message from TSN Command that explains the conclusion of the mission. But I can understand how some players want more. I should be able to stick a Mission Completed pop up on the main screen without bugging anything...

But actually I am a bit worried about it bugging the game. It shouldn't but I don't have time to Q&A the whole campaign right now to make sure.

If I make the alteration will upload the new files and if players let me know if it bugs the ending.
