What additional options are you talking about Mark?    And do you think that coding, such as above, can be integrated into 2.0 so that what I have done can still be used?  I would hate to have to start all over again!

2.0's DMX support is going to be basically the same as 1.x, just with more available triggers!  Your current setup and file will work just fine.  You'll now be able to react to even more events in game by adding additional events in the file.

So instead of just Shields On, there will also be a trigger for Raising Shields and Lowering Shields - that kind of thing.  The file format is the same.  Also, the DMX output only triggers on events that are specified in the file, so if you don't want the lights to do anything in particular when the player ship is destroyed, just don't enumerate the event.  No problem.
