Do you print out stencils for laying down the paste? Whats your technique for that?

Looking great!  I usually go for the "chisel tip iron and desolder wick" method, but that's because I'm impatient and only doing a single board at a time lol

I don't use a stencil. I use the "spot method" using a pre-loaded syringe. It's a lot like decorating a very tiny cake, except that the frosting will cause kidney failure.

ROFL ok I'm quoting that lol

Also, color me impressed with that - solder paste application is something I haven't ever tried, but mostly because I usually order complex boards fully assembled at work and hand solder at home.

Hi all,

I'm about 75% of the way done with the project. Seems like it's time for a training video!

This one features some friendly and helpful AI advice! I show some footage of the panels in use, but mostly the video is about Artemis SBS.

I recommend full screen for the best experience. Enjoy!

Awesome vid, nicely done!
All too often I see "don't like the sound of my own voice, used a speech synthesizer" but it really works well here, it's perfectly "in character"   [biggrin]

why is it every time I talk to you/read a post/check out your stuff in any way at all, the scope of my own bridge project begins to creep exponentially?
😉

UPDATE:

Put Science and Comms together. Plugged Comms in. I have some work to do on the status light reflectors, but everything else looks ok.

funny story - I was building a PCB to handle a switching/light matrix for me on my controls, to get the rats nest of wiring under control. Idea would be a little 4 wire harness coming off each button (2 for switch, 2 for LED) and connect to a 4pin JST on a little PCB, which then connects to one of AoR's shift register boards. So I designed it up, and sent off to JCLPCB for fabrications. Came back today and for giggles, I ran a Multimeter on it. No connectivity! ANYWHERE. So I pull up the eagle CAD file and realize that I never actually placed down any traces. OOOops. Electronic version of 'measure twice cut once' I suppose 😉

Yup! Traces help 😋

Looking forward to seeing how the new idea works out.

Good question!  I'd buy!

I've kind of wondered why some of the more prolific builders here aren't making a business of it.

The ACP3 Overview and Guide on github is a good place to start.
